Intimate Wedding at The Parlour at Manns Chapel in Chapel Hill, NC

Raleigh Wedding Photographers

One of the things we love most as wedding photographers and videographers is seeing how our couples make their wedding days unique. Kellie and Craig’s wedding at The Parlour at Manns Chapel in Chapel Hill was intimate, heartfelt, and such a wonderful example of two families bonding and emerging from the wedding weekend as one new, tight-knit family.

The Parlour at Manns Chapel is the perfect Chapel Hill wedding venue for an intimate wedding in North Carolina like Kellie and Craig’s. This venue specializes in small intimate weddings, and their motto is “Love Big, Celebrate Small” as seen on their website. And y’all know we’re ALL about intentionality on your wedding day. We want you to be able to relax, be present and enjoy the celebration of your love! That’s why the Parlour is one of our favorite wedding venues in Chapel Hill – the entire experience is centered around the couple.

First Touch

Don’t get us wrong, we love big weddings too – but smaller, more intimate weddings allow for so much emotion and connection between the couple. Kellie & Craig’s first touch on the Parlour at Manns Chapel porch is such a perfect example of this. We love this trend of the first touch as an alternative to a first look. Especially for couples whose love language is physical touch, a first touch can be a moment to feel grounded by your partner, and to build a special memory together before your ceremony.

Reception Details

Just because you have a smaller guest count wedding, it does not mean you cannot showcase elegant details, gorgeous florals, and chic style. As NC wedding photographers, The Parlour is one of our favorite wedding venues in Chapel Hill because of how easy and simple they make it to have an amazing and lovely wedding day. The historic chapel and clean, crisp courtyard barely need any decoration. They naturally make a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photos. The Parlour at Manns Chapel now even offers an option to have an elopement ceremony in their historic chapel, a truly intimate experience! We also love that the Parlour is a female-founded business.

We hope that Kellie and Craig’s wedding shows you inspiration for your own intimate, romantic and couple-focused wedding day, regardless of your guest count. If you’re thinking about getting married at the Parlour at Manns Chapel, or any other wedding venue in Chapel Hill, we’d love to chat with you about your wedding day photography and videography! We offer wedding photo and video packages and would love to get in touch with you!
