The Umstead Hotel in Cary, NC is surrounded by a large wooded area and has some of the prettiest outdoor locations, including their boardwalk that overlooks a lake and has become a well known spot for proposals and engagement photos in Raleigh. And for good reason! They also host some of most niche and exclusive weddings at The Umstead Hotel. So if you are looking for a hidden gem for both your proposal or wedding, check out this gorgeous spot.
WRAL Azalea Gardens
The WRAL Azalea Gardens in Raleigh, NC is perfect for proposals, engagement sessions, and even weddings! Their gardens are filled with, you guessed it, Azaleas. It has expanded to include many different plants of all colors and sizes, including lots of greenery which we adore. It creates the prettiest backdrop and location for a romantic proposal in Raleigh.
Raleigh Rose Garden
The Raleigh Rose Garden might be one of our favorite locations for all types of sessions, including proposals and engagements! You really can’t go wrong with all those gorgeous blooms starting in the spring and lasting through mid-summer. On top of that, no reservations or fees are required to have your photoshoot here! The Raleigh Rose Garden is one of the most popular places to propose in Raleigh.
